This course covers everything a DBA needs to know to set up and run MariaDB Cluster, a highly available, synchronous, multi-master cluster that uses Galera technology. Students learn the basics of the MariaDB Cluster architecture and functionality, as well as more advanced techniques for configuring and administering MariaDB Cluster.
PREREQUISITES
Completion of the MariaDB Standard DBA course or relevant working experience as a MariaDB database administrator
Working knowledge of database concepts
Working knowledge of UNIX/Linux command prompt usage
Basic knowledge of computer networking
SUGGESTED PREREQUISITES
Linux administration skills
MariaDB server configuration and usage
Familiarity with AWS VMs
Familiarity with VirtualBox
CLASS DETAILS
This is a 2-day course. Each day is a 6.5-hour session that includes instructor-led training, followed by hands-on exercises. We will take a 30 minute lunch/coffee break at 12:30.
